INGREDIENTS
FOR THE ROSEMARY SIMPLE SYRUP:
1 LARGE SPRIG OF ROSEMARY
1 CUP OF GRANULATED SUGAR
0.5 CUP OF WATER
FOR THE COCKTAIL:
1.5 OZ OF MEZCAL CAMPANTE
ROSEMARY SIMPLE SYRUP
3 OZ OF SODA
1 LIME,
FRESHLY SQUEEZED
FOR GARNISH: 1 SPRIG OF ROSEMARY
INSTRUCTIONS
DIRECTIONS FOR THE SYRUP
FOR THE ROSEMARY SIMPLE SYRUP: ADD LEAVES FROM THE ROSEMARY SPRIG, AND WATER IN A POT, AND BRING TO A BOIL. ADD SUGAR, AND STIR UNTIL THE SUGAR IS DISSOLVED. STRAIN THE ROSEMARY LEAVES OUT OF THE MIXTURE, AND ALLOW THE SYRUP TO COOL.
DIRECTIONS FOR THE COCKTAIL:
ADD THE MEZCAL CAMPANTE, ROSEMARY SYRUP, AND LIME JUICE INTO A SHAKER WITH ICE. SHAKE WELL. STRAIN THE MIXTURE INTO A GLASS FILLED WITH ICE AND TOP OFF WITH SODA. FOR GARNISH, ADD A SPRIG OF ROSEMARY.
